The Gospel Is Reaching Places We May Never Go
Grand Slam Ministries, an IRS approved 501c3 Christian charitable organization, was formed in Jan. 2022.
What began as a local ministry is now reaching listeners around the world.
Through The Dan Scott Show, people in more than 70 countries are hearing authentic stories of God’s faithfulness and the life-changing hope found in Jesus Christ.
These aren’t sermons. They’re real conversations and testimonies that connect with people who may never walk into a church.
For years, archived episodes were downloaded in 28 countries. Then, in just a few weeks, that number grew to more than 70.
Today, the radio show continues reaching people across the globe, including places where openly sharing the Gospel can be difficult.
Every gift helps share these stories of hope with someone who simply presses play.
Our Mission
Grand Slam Ministries exists to Serve. Love. And Mentor.
We share the Gospel through media, serve families in need, and seek opportunities to mentor the next generation as God opens those doors.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (Matthew 22:37-39 KJV)
More Than a Radio Show
The Dan Scott Show has become the heartbeat of our ministry. Each week, listeners hear powerful testimonies from ordinary people whose lives have been transformed by Christ.
While thousands listen during the live broadcast, the greatest growth happens after the show ends. We are on nearly 50 over the air radio stations every week, plus eight internet stations (two international.)
Serving Families Close to Home
Global outreach never replaces local ministry. Each Christmas, Grand Slam Ministries partners with trusted school guidance counselors to identify families in the Upstate who need help providing Christmas for their children. We’ve also expanded this outreach to serve families facing difficult circumstances, including children impacted by parental incarceration. As God provides, we hope to grow this ministry and serve even more families throughout the year.
Looking Ahead
God continues to open new doors. In addition to expanding the reach of The Dan Scott Show and serving families in our community, we believe God is calling Grand Slam Ministries to invest more intentionally in mentoring young men and helping build strong Christian leaders, husbands, fathers, and servants. This is part of the vision we’re praying toward as the ministry grows.
Why This Matters
Every child deserves hope.
Every family deserves encouragement.
Every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel.
Whether that begins through a testimony on the radio, a family receiving help at Christmas,
or a future mentoring relationship, our mission remains the same: Serve. Love. And Mentor.
